View Full Version : Question Retrofit retaining hooks to Avant boot?

I've got a 2006 Avant with the four cargo-securing rings on the floor in the boot. My manual has a section showing some retaining hooks fitted to the back of the rear seats, which would be useful for hanging light bags of shopping, but my car doesn't have any hooks. I've seen reference to "curry hooks" being available as a retrofitted part for the Saloon.

Can I retrofit these retaining hooks on an Avant? If so, can anybody give me the part numbers, price and brief fitting instructions?

Thanks.

Mine already has the hooks fitted to the parcel shelf roller unit.

Does that mean that I would have to get a new parcel shelf roller unit, or do you think the hooks can be added to the one I have got?

They look riveted to the roller unit so probably can be attached as a separate item

Cheers guys - I guess I'll have to live without them. I don't imagine they are sold as spares.

I have the "curry hooks" in my saloon, you can buy them from your local dealer.
Maybe a photo from kodkod to see how they are mounted would help ypu..

Soz for late reply but only just having a clearout of iphone photos :)

The hooks are indeed riveted on but I can't see why you won't be able to screw them in
