Hi,

I've recently taken delivery of a leased A3 Sportback.

I would like to fit a detachable tow bar but am only "allowed" to by the leasing firm if I don't do a bumper cut...

My question(s) is(are) -

is there a detachable tow bar that doesn't need a bumper cut?

Which bit gets cut? (I've been told I can get a replacement skirt to fit with the tow bar and put the original on when the car goes back)

The local (Cardiff) Audi dealer wanted £1370 (inc VAT tho!) to have one fitted....

Thanks in advance.

Jimmy

Hi,

I would recommend the westfalia detachable towbar with the dedicated plug in wiring kit, the towbar is the original equipment the dealer supplies, you can then purchase a replacement lower bumper trim and removable flap, these trims are around £70.00 from your dealer and may require painting after fitting, also if using the dedicated wiring kit this will need activating on VAGCOM, we can supply this kit for £325.77 plus £10 carriage fitting is an additional £115.00 for more information please call us on 08000354299 Thanks Dale
