Bmw 335 twin turbo diesel ( sacrilage posting that here I know but true )...I had it showing 161mph on the clock:approve:
Very nice piece of kit.

The fastest car I have driven, has been the Jaguar XKR (2010) 5.0 Supercharged V8. This one, specially prepared by Jaguar for the day had both the "Speed pack" AND the "Black pack"
The Coupe in Red with glass black wheels.....lovely
0-62 was around 4.2 secs and limited to 174mph:D:D:D

The Convertible was just as nice in a deep glossy blue with cream leather interior and Silver alloys with SUPERCHARGED stamped into them :beerchug:

What a great day that was!!

Porsche Gemballa, a few Ruff's and a s2 tuned by Dahlback Racing back in the 90's- 2.3 Turbo stroked to 2,5 with a fricking big KKK turbo dont know the specs but it was the fastest thing i ever been into... I took that to 360 km per hour on autobahns- used to be a "getaway car"... police in their sport's s2 could not keep-up !

I used to get to play with a few fast(ish) cars that my mate has owned.
He's a motor trader that started with Metros ,Fiestas etc but gradually he started buying better stuff and would always throw me the keys.
ur quattro,260bhp, was the first fast car I drove and what probably started me on the Audi track
Porsche 928
Porsche 911 turbo
M5
M3
429 super cobra jet mach 1 mustang
300 BHP 4X4 Sapphire Cosworth
Audi S4 v6
Breathed on Audi tt quattro
Spent a day at Audi special invitation only, Audi RS6 and RS6 PLUS and S4 V8
Probably a good few I cant remember, then my own fastish cars
XR2
RS Turbo
Capri 2.8 injection
Audi S3
Audi A4 3.0 quattro sport, and not forgetting my current Maclaren SLR ,HA, HA

Just rememberred TVR Cerbera 4.2 ,what a f----- awesome tool

Hi Paul,
thanks for the comments, much appreciated :beerchug:

I'm pretty sure that those figures are for the std car, the one I was in had both the "black pack" and the "speed pack" which lifts the limiter from 155mph to 174mph and I think the 0-60 is improved too!

Anyhow, I only got to borrow those babies, you own yours you lucky bugger. I've always loved the Bentley and its one of my dream cars :beerchug:

Fastest I've driven is probably my old Lancia Delta HF Turbo. Only 1.6 and 140bhp, but it did feel very fast.

Fastest I've been driven in is probably Dave Paveley's Mitsubishi - he was the teacher at the rally school day I went on, and although we were driving mk2 escorts all day, he then gave us a ride around the gravel stage in the Evo - very quick indeed!

The last time i was carting it was in a 2stroke with a top speed of 68mph. It didn't feel as rapid as I thought it would when youre low down.

The biggest thing i noticed was getting back into the golf with it feeling super smooth/light/fast by comparison. Quite dangerous until you get used to it again. Probably down to the crazy vibration of the 2stroke motor. Pop pop pop, fun times. :biglaugh:

I want to go again, but its too cold :<

The thing I always remembered about it was how sexy it was with it's flared arches, even the Coupe it was based on was nice as well, the 80 Sport, which was basically the Coupe with a normal boot instead of the rapier back end, was my favorite, had one in in bright red brand new complete with door rings decals, I had to go pick it up as it was a dealer exchange, one lurverly 60 mile drive later and I was hooked on it, a local shopkeeper bought it, and eventually a mate of mine bought it off him, sadly it's in the scrapyard now, can even remember the number plate after 27 years as well.

She was one of the first of the single headlamp models, the original driven by the super Swede iirc had quad lights in the front.

She had a whistler turbo back tem, it would whistle up through the gear and dump as you changed up, well leary when you are 19 and nobody realises it's a company car ;)

My brother had a viggen - now that was some car - I was a passenger in it a few times and it was stonkingly fast never got to drive it tho. Got a shot of one in Canada though when I was over there - Now I knew why he had a mile long grin all the time he had that car as it was seriously fast bit of kit.

He also had an uno turbo - it weighed next to nothing and of course as I was used to a fiesta popular it was bound to feel fast - second gear had a tendancy to bounce into the rev limiter. It was fast and saw 120 on the clock.

Porsche 911 carerra 3.2 - saw over 150 and this as a 1983 car - did it once didnt want to do it again - was the usual lest see what this car can do. so it went there and it did it pretty well although it was a little light at the front.

Mondeo 220ST touched 140 in that. very strong pull all the way round the rev.

Audi A6 2.7 let the ct out for a purr and saw over 140 on the speedo. Felt secure on the road and felt like it could do that all day even though the driver would find it hard !

All these speeds were done on a private road mind and no member of the public was harmed.

I'd be sorely tempted to write the girlfriend ;). But truth be told..I'd actually have to say an Airbus A319. Was flying back from Denmark last year, and a young first-officer was put in charge of take-off. Needless to say he decided to literally slam the throttles forwards...the force of the engines threw us all back in our seats and we were up at 10,000ft doing about 500mph in literally seconds....the kid must have thought he was flying an F16!!

Mine would be my 1998 Toyota Supra RZ-S 3.0 Twin turbo.....or does it.... NO! It has one T88 Greddy turbo, 900cc injectors, a 5inch titanium exhaust blah blah blah, it has just under 1000BHP and does a quarter mile in 8.26secs and a top speed of something i dare not find out i guess around 210mph, but it is rapid!

Turbo lag is something to hate but in this car its an anticipation, i find myself going slow in third an thing riding the lag until it delivers the furious power in one massive kick in the ****! Its ******* incredible! lol

A mate of mine shoehorned a Zephyr 6 3.0 litre lump into a Lotus Cortina, the only give away was the twin exhausts oh and of course that lovely six cylinder rumble, it was a beast and after first test driving it he decided it might be a good idea to fit some brakes that would actually stop this thing plus a fresh pair of caks as well.

I think I'd like to claim victory as being the fastest: 521.8mph. Boeing 737-800 yesterday morning from Rome. Muahahaha. :D And yes, I was able to get the GPS working on my phone (Android Sony X10) to verify it.

Nice one Andrew.
Sorry can't give you that. It has to be driven or ridden. LOL
Although that is quick.
What speed are you going on land when the 737 takes off.

Regards Paul.
