Where can i get a rear ashtray from for my b7 saloon? The ashtray part is there but the cover is missing. I take it that you have to get the whole unit and would not be able to get the cober on its own?

That's pricey!!! What do you mean by the whole ashtray? I bought the complete ashtray for £14. The lid and internal tray! Surely the B7 is the same as the B6???

I've been meaning to get a replacement for mine as the last owners kids must have kicked sh!t out of it looking at the state on it.

Was expecting £40+ considering the s line badge on its own costs £23+vat so £14 sounds like a bargain :beerchug:

(I assume we're talking about this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUDI-A4-REAR-ASHTRAY-BRUSHED-ALLOY-/260724268009?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb4609be9 obviously with a different finish depending what model you have)

Hi I have a B5.5 Passat and the rear ashtray will not stay shutt. Found a couple of links http://www.passatworld.com/forums/42-volkswagen-passat-b5-discussion/170412-need-favor-picture-b5-5-rear-ashtray-please.html

http://www.passatworld.com/forums/42-volkswagen-passat-b5-discussion/164182-need-help-rear-ash-tray.html does anyone have a part no for the plasic bit, I can't see one in the apperture at all.

Any other ideas on how to stop it opening, I would rather keep it operational than my kids use the floor as a dustbin!
