Just wondering if anyone has done this? I have a front facing camera 12V(as I do a lot of milage and have had a few near misses recently through the stupidity of other road users) and want to hard wire it into interior light panel/auto-dim mirror. Has anyone done anything like this before? Any tips on how to do it?
Thanks

Do a search on the US Audi forums as people are always wiring in their Valentine radar detectors
In fact I've just done it for you :

Cool :beerchug:
I'm glad you posted that link as I didn't know about tapa-circuit. It might be useful one day.
Cheers.

If you do not have the "Garage-Door opener Homelink" option fitted, which is normally located in the roof just aft of the interior light, can you not use the hard-wiring from that? it has its own dedicated fuse (fuse carrier black #3).

That was what I was originally thinking but the tapa-circuit option makes things a lot easier. No messing about trying to find the hot wire and a much easier install.
