You could never keep that clean unless it was permanently inside a fully tiled garage - still when I win the lottery one will be on my shopping list

This is a seriously Buff Cosworth. Does it get used much or does it only come out on sunny days?

When i first got the car it had done 47,000 miles
It is showing 89,000. now.
Last year it did 800 miles. Year before 1200 miles.
We use it to go to the regional day shows.

Stunningly clean sir, and with the greatest respect, are the rear wheels original size as I don't remember the Cossie looking so over-bodied

The only difference the car is on the outside is it has had the front splitter removed, the side mouldings removed and the windows have been tinted.
The wheels and arches are as standard.

Last year the car went to Bruntinthorpe for the Sierra RS Cosworth 25th anniversary. The day went well untill we had to drive around the circuit slowly to have the photo's taken.
There were 27 cars going around in a well behaved manner untill we got to the start of the 2 mile straight. The camera car which was a full blow RS500 touring car drop the hammer and everyone nailed it including myself. The tarmac is very very very loose with lots of chippings. It was like the Whacky Races. Nobody could see a thing, most of the cars were getting slaughtered by loose chippings and dust.
When i got back to base i looked at what was once my concourse car and it was ruined.
The windscreen was chipped, both front lights were damaged.
Both front wings, bonnet, grill, front bumper, drivers door were total ruined by thousands of stone chip marks.
So of to the paint shop for a 100% hit respray. Then it went on the back of a lorry to Peterborough where it was treated to a 90% paint sheild system. This is a clear paint protection film.
New lights and windsreen put in. Now its like new.So no more stone chips for me.
Regards Paul.
