Have any other members here had a similar problem? I have a 2004 Octavia 1.9 tdi 130 and when driving along the throttle will cease to work no matter how much you move the pedal. I find that on dipping the clutch the engine drops to tickover and after a second or two I can re-engage the clutch and drive normally. Occasionally when this happens on dipping the clutch the engine will stop. When this happens I have to turn the engine off and restart, it wont restart by letting out the clutch and "bump-starting" it. This has had me tearing my hair out and I would be interested if any one else has come across this and how they cured it.
