Hey Folks,

First time poster on here :)

I have a couple of issues with my 2001/2002 Audi A4 1.9 TDI Avant.

When its really wet outside, the car seems to have a big hesitation when trying to acelerate, or pull away from a junction.
It seems to be either the MAF or the boost control solenoid, as its really late in hitting boost or anywhere near peak torque.

When its dry the thing has no hesitation, apart from the usual stutter when rolling off and on the throttle..

Ive read about blocking the EGR valve, which is easy enough. Will this throw a code?
Also replacing the N75 valve, from reading on the web this can cause the issues im having. Where is this located?

Anyone have any other ideas?

Cheers in advance
Rory

Your problem is typical of damp getting to the AMM

Pardon the ignorance, but what is the AMM?

Ah ok, that will be the air flow meter.

Ill have it off tomorow, and make sure the thing is dry etc.

Thanks for your help
