I have my Passat 1.9 TDI serviced at Volksparts of Durham. Had 50,000 mile service & timing belts done last year and they were considerably cheaper than main dealers but use VW parts. Air con recharge done last month was £20 cheaper than Main Dealer. Hope this helps
