Hi, bought a Cordoba TDI and was told by hte dealership it was the 100BHP(74kW) 1.4TDI... Since doing a little checking up, i have founf teh sticker in the spare wheel well that says Cordoba 1.4 TDI Sport P55 which according to the user manual is the 75BHP(55kW) version...

Is my assumption thst the dealership sold me the 75bhp tdi instead of a 100bhp tdi correct?

Thanks

Ring Seat and give them your engine number and VIN number, they should be able to tell you exactly what it is, and if its not what was described by the sales people youve got a case.

I have looked into this and was told to look in the boot for said sticker to prove power output

Thought the 1.4tdi only had 75bhp??

1.9tdi was 100bhp and 130bhp

Hi
Not sure about the UK models but in Ireland the Cordoba TDi comes in two flavours:

Costa 1.4 TDI (70 bhp) and Sport 1.4 TDI (80bhp)

We don't have the 1.9 here anymore for tax reasons bigger engine = higher road tax and VRT (purchase tax) :(

As far as I know you can only get 100bhp straight out of the showroom if you've got a 1.9TDI.
