Will do.
The dealer is quoting May for delivery at the moment so I will have to be patient :(

Nice, have you got the 'off road' button? If not get it added, it makes a big difference in the snow and worth the £125, and you will curse yourself if you don't. Personally it would be first on my list of extras for the Tig.

Thanks for the advice.:beerchug:
I did consider adding it but wasn't sure if I would use it. I will ask the dealer if I can add it to my order.

If it snows you will use it!!

Here is the spec for it:

1: Hill descent control
2: Hill ascent control (no running backwards)
3: Modifies throttle feel and behaviour. So it's difficult to wheel spin accidentally.
4: Modifies brake feel and behaviour. Included in this is alteration of the ABS "grab" point for better use in slippery conditions and to allow a gravel "wedge" to build to help stop the vehicle.
5: Changes gear shift timing (auto).
6: 50/50 Haldex split.
7: Uses 4 channel split brakes to create same effect as a locked diff.

As I said you will use it!!!

Sounds just what I need. To get to the main road I have a couple of curved inclines to get through which apart from the lightest of fresh snow proved difficult in my A4.

Fantastic you will not be sorry, esp. going down hill in the snow

Sounds like a nicely specced car. That grey really suits it too.

Off-road button might be useful for downhill, but not sure it has any specific benefit with snow. Mine doesn't have it, and it loved the snow, just chucked it out of the way as though it wasn't even there.

i used it particularly for going downhill in the snow and yes it makes a huge difference to the feel of the car and brake distribution.

Hopefully I won't get to test it in snow for a few months yet.
I have been told by the dealer the car has been made. Should get it in 2-3 weeks :D
