DPF Removal & remap - 3.0 TDI

From doing a bit of reading on the net I understand that some companies are now offering DPF removal services, but mainly for the 4 cylinder/non-quattros at the moment.

By doing this is looks like you get more power from the remap and better mpg.

Has anyone done this or know of companies that do fro the v6 tdi?

what year and bhp is your vehicle ~?

dpf off is probably ok on your car
but at some point in the near future will need the dpf physically removed before it clogs up

Its an 06, 233hp TDV auto.

I def want to remove or gut the DPF as I dont want the restriction when mapping for the power increase and mpg.

I think MRC do it, just waiting for a call back on info and pricing

you will do , the dpf and cat are part of the same box I believe on this vehicle so thats going to be awkward

we can remap and dpf delete on teh ecu for £349 all in
should gain 50bhp and 110Nm from the remap

getting the dpf cut about and welded back up is probably around £150
