vw passat tdi problem

hi ther. i have a vw passat tdi b5 model its a 1997 model when i put my indercator on it just blows the fuse it has only started doing it with this bad snow weather. could any one give me any ideas plz ???????????

Does it blow the fuse when using the indicator to the one side or both sides?

yea it only blows the fuse when its to the left

Remove the rear left connector at the tail light and see if the fuse continues to blow. Does the vehicle have a tow bar fitted ?

Okay then as stated to find where the fault is (front or back) start by removing the connector at the rear left light,the indicator will flash a lot faster but don't let that bother you,just see if the fuse blows or not

cheers matey ill check tomorrow also washers not working checked fuses and motor is running slow do u think it could be the ignition switch

No it is not the ignition switch are you sure the fluid is not frozen
