I went to the DVLA and changed my plates using the retention certificate this week. They took my Tax disk and issued a new one with the new plate there and then.
I have just noticed though that the value of the Tax disk is £235, which I thought should have been £200. Mainly because the 08 brochure for the A4 Avant says the CO2 should be 179 g/km, also the dealer mentioned a charge of £200 when I purchased the car.
The V5C slip I have states 188 g/km so I am a bit confused. I know mistakes are made on these things. A friend of mine has a V12 Aston Martin who pays £110 / year ;) because his V5 states the incorecct CO2 for his car.
So, any info back from other 3litre TDI owners would be appreciated. mine is a 58 plate manual Avant. Apparantly mine is a 2009 I have been told from the VIN number
Many Thanks.
