Touran Steering Rack

I am looking to buy a steering rack off ebay for my 2006 Volkswagen Touran, i've found one for a reasonable price,but i would like to know if it would fit my vehicle.My part number is 1k2 423 055 JX and the part number of the one on ebay is 1k2 423 055 G.Just want to know if there would be a significant difference and what exactly do the last 2 letters stand for.:1zhelp:

hi mate the X at the end of the part number means its an exchange unit at some point, it will fit but you may notice the steering is a little lighter or heavier than it was before but you can adjust the p/steering feel using VCDS

One more thing Phil. I read on here that the lead might be different would the lead I currently have work with the one I want to purchase?
