welcome to the forum.
have you checked the bulbs actually work ? might be worth fitting new ones, just in case.

The brake lights have nothing to do with the fuses for the tail lights, check fuses 22 and 23.do the front side lights function???????

(front side lights im amusing are the low beam) no they don't appear to be working, and fuse 22,23 are intact.

No the side lights are the (parking lights).put the switch in the parking light position and see if the front side lights work

yes they do work with switch in the park position

I'm wondering if it could be the head light switch its self, seeing as low beam appears to be nonoperational?

Hi,

How did you pull the switch out? I have a faulty connection as well.

Cheers

Theres two lugs that need to be depressed but is very hard to get the right angle, easiest way is to just take the whole panel containing the switch assembly off. theres around 8 Torx t-25 srews some under the fuse box cover and around the foot well and 2 clasps either side of the steering column. then it comes right off and you've got uninhibited access to the switch assembly.
