Heating Problem

Having a strange problem with my heater at the moment. Last night and today, when I am stationary, the warm heat I've chosen (say 28 degrees) changes slowly from warm/hot to icy cold air. It then warms up again as soon as I move off. A total pain in stop-start traffic or at traffic lights.

It makes no difference if the A/C is on or off, or what position the vents are blowing from. AUTO makes no difference to the problem either.

It has been pretty cold here recently - hasn't got above -5 degrees for about 48hrs.

Any ideas?

Hi there
Check the antifreeze level and check for any leakages.
If it is not enough concentrated could have some frozen sections somewhere and that might be the problem.
