steel wheels need for winter tyres

Can anyone advise on what to get for my 2006 A4 Avant i want to replace the fronts with 15" steel rims and snow tyres 18" 235 40 on at mo.

where can you get cheep steel rims and tyres been waiting for an age at Mytyres.co.uk so just cancelled the order but want to get sorted soon.

Suggest ebay especially the german site (www.ebay.de)

Also try alloywheels.com, they might have steels (certainly have 15" alloys last time I checked).

Another german site (not tried them, seems to fail whenever i try to add to basket but you make have more luck) - www.reifen.com

Finally, check this helpful post http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=588231&postcount=28 - reasonably priced and once you get past the language thing, you should be okay.


TIP: I used google translate to understand what the german sites mean.
