oil leak

Hi folks
firstly, seasons greetings to all
Ive just replaced the injector wiring harness on my 2001 tdi pd
but ive noticed a small drop of oil under the front of the car in the morning,
ive taken the plastic cover off the top of the engine and have narrowed it down to the cam cover, ive either not put it back on properly or pinched the rubber gasket, my local dealer says the gasket only comes with the cover, wait for it.........£113 :aargh4: is it possible to get the gasket on its own or should i try re fitting it.
your thought will be much appreciated

Take it back off and see if it's been pinched when you refitted it. If it has, I'd attempt repairing it with some instant gasket stuff. It worked a treat on my old Nissan when I split it after an engine re-build.
