A3 , 06' Brake light bulb change........

Guys.....

Help.........

Ive followed topic after topic that just say, open boot, take cap out, unscrew hex nut, carefully lever fitting out..

sounds simple. except, no matter how I try it is fixed tight further round, and it looks to me like a nut that will need to be undone from under the side panel inside the boot.

Surely, to change an £0.85p bulb you dont have to book in to audi and have it all done and be charged an hrs labour??


I have now cost myself a fortune having followed all the tips and successfully cracked the light fitting lense and it has also sheared away around the whole edge, meaning its now open to the elements and compeltey buggered!! :0)

someone must know the correct procedure..

Hi

They are a pain to remove, you need to "de-locate" the 2 x lugs that are on the side of the car then pull towards you ......... easier said than done

a little more patience, and the correct brute force in the right direction and its off..

now for the superglue!!! to fix the edge
