Which Oil

Hi, newbie here.

Quick couple of questions,

I have an 03 plate Bora 100bhp TDI SE lovely car, it has 104k on the clcok, which is the best oil to use?Also, my centre consol light has never worked since I bought it, is it just a case of replacing the LED's behind, or is there some expensive jobby that will bend me over?

Castrol EDGE TURBO DIESEL 5W-40 or any 5w-40 for tdi's. Comma oil is very good.
