Radiator fan switch

My electric radiator fan on my Passat 2002 2.0 ALT engine is always on.
Does anyone know where the coolant thermastatic fan switch is? :1zhelp:

i was going to unplug to see if this is what is causing the problems.

Not sure on yours, but on my 130 tdi it's where the bottom radiator hose connects to the radiator, held in by a small clip. Might be a good place to look on yours.

I had a quick look and standing in front of the car to the right of the radiator there is a hose going into the bottom of the radiator with an electrical connection.
Does the clip hold the electic connector is place or the sensor to the hose? Don't want to lose all the coolant!!!
I will try again when it is light.

The clip holds the sensor in place.
