can anyone advise me on the problem i got with my 2002 a3 1.9tdi asz,leaving work this morning,as i accelerated i lost all power(no turbo kicking in) and lots of black smoke behind, and very deep exhaust note,
had to feather the throttle to get it up to 40 mph,after driving a few miles
the black smoke stopped and had a little more power,but still no boost,
when i looked under the bonnet i noticed the large pipe from the intercooler that fits to egr valve had come loose,reconnected pipe and test
drove but pipe blew straight back off again,it seems the circlip wont hold the pipe onto the egr! does this mean my turbo has blown or is it just the pipe thats my problem? any help would be really appreciated.:(
