115 - 150 differences and Power options

Just wondering, if I was to put on the turbo, injectors and intercooler from a PD 150 tdi and front mount the intercooler, then got it remapped by one of the remapping companies around could I be looking at a similar power increase to a remapped tdi 150?

I am not 100% sure but I think the cylinder heads are slightly different so you either won't be able to fit the injectors or the power may not be exactly the same as the 150.

The easiest way to check this would be to give VW a call and check the part numbers of the cylinder heads.

the 150 has a different inlet track, and cam iirc, it would prob be easier and cheaper to buy a 150 lump and loom and fit that instead

Really? Ok well its feasible I guess money wise, but does it drop straight in or require much modification to fit?

Also with the intercooler, to re route the pipework is that a pain or quite easy, I haven't got a pd150 to compare with and finding engine pics of both to compare is not easy

it will all fit but you would need everything including pipe work, best off find a rear ended one and do it that way mate
