Hi,
I have a G+ 110BHP Diesel 55 plate (about 78k miles). A couple of days ago - as the cold weather kicked in - I noticed a bit of vibration when changing gear. I put this down to the cold and/or maybe not being as heavy footed as I normally am (to avoid the possibility of skidding). However, this evening the noise is much more noticeable. There's no problem when I move off in first or change up to second but when going into third or fourth there is a distinct vibration from the engine. This disappears when the car hits a cruising speed and there's no noise when I change down through the gears. I've no idea what's causing this - the drive belt was changed in the summer along with water pump. Has anybody come across this problem or got any suggestions what it might be?
