front cupholder

hi all. does anyone know how to remove the front cupholder in the dash on a 1998 a6?. my little boy opened it put something in it and now it wont close fully and is annoying me:zx11: . cheers all.

Remove the radio,push from behind and pull.I would order a new one as you will be lucky not to damage it on removal as they can be tight

hi. cheers, now how do i get the radio out. i had a look last weekend and couldnt see how it is fixed in. cheers.

Depending on the radio/nav installed you will need radio removal pins.if there are only two thin slots then only two pins required,if 4 then 4 required.You can find them on ebay

711Also there will be a trim surrond from the cup holder and the hazard switch.This just flicks outit number 4
