Hello,
I am currently looking for an S8 - always had a great respect for them after the film Ronin! I am looking for one between 1998-2001
I just wondered if anyone had any advice on the main points to look for other than the required Full Service History? I have heard that the lights can be poor? I have also heard that the 4.2 V8 engine was updated at some point - is this correct?
Does anyone know the service shedule, I understand that there is a main service at 60k, which includes the cambelt, but other than this I don't know what to expect?
Following on from this does anyone have an idea of the cost of servicing, including the 60k cambelt change? Can anyone recommend a good independant Audi specialist in the midlands area?
