mirror cover

hi, i've just joined this forum and was wondering if anyone could help me.i've got a 2002 passat and need to fit a new mirror cover to drivers side mirror. i've got the new one but dont wont to cause more damage by removing old one ,if anyone can help please let me know.thanks :1zhelp:

You need to turn the mirror glass in as far as it goes and prise it off.

As you have the new cover you can see where and how it clips in, it's just a case of pulling the current cover up and towards the front of the car.
