Hey All,
Just purchased and secured a deal for my first ever Audi car.

I have ummed and arred about purchasing an Audi over a BMW but I am hoping (and know) that I have made the right choice!

I currently drive a 1.6 Astra SXI so looking forward to driving a high spec car packed with lots of features!

The car I have purchased is a 2008 Audi A4 2.0 TDI (143 PS) SE
Heres all the spec:

Audio / Communication:
10 Speakers
Audi Music Interface
Front/Rear Power Socket
Radio/CD/MP3

Exterior:
Automatic Headlight Elevation
Colour Coded Bumpers
Electric/Heated Door Mirrors
Front Fog Lamps

Interior:
Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
Carpet
Centre Console
Centre Rear Seat Belt
Driver Seat Height Adjustment
Front/Rear Armrest
Front/Rear Head Restraints
ISOFIX Anchorage Point
Split Rear Seat

Safety / Technology:
Alarm
Anti-Lock Brakes
Audi DVD Satellite Navigation
Climate Control
Driver/Passenger Front & Side Airbags
Drivers Information System
Electronic Stability Programme
Front/Rear Electric Windows
Immobiliser
Rain Sensing Wipers
Remote Central Door Locking

Steering Wheel:
Leather Steering Wheel With Mounted Controls
Power Assisted Steering
Rake/Reach Adjustable Steering Column/Wheel

Wheels:
17" Alloy Wheels
Space Saver Spare Wheel

Can someone please tell me whether or not I will be able to hook my phone up to it? There was a button on the centre console for "PHONE" but it dosent actually say it on the specs above...

Also, the salesman said something to do with Parking Sensors! Im confused, is this the thing that makes a noise when ur reversing?

Cant wait to get it on Tuesday!!

Welcome :beerchug:

In the July 2008 brochure I have it says no cars came with phone preparation as standard.

There were various options from £375 up to £950.

It likely your car doesn't have this. The button is there on all cars I believe.

Parking sensors - yep the beep ... beep .. beep . beep beeeeeep as you get closer. On the B8 there are choices on front, rear and a graphical display.

Out of your options it looks like you car is a standard SE apart from :

Audi Music Interface
Audi DVD Satellite Navigation

The brochure's here if you want to see it : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3628815/a4%20200807.pdf

If it has bluetooth then it will fairly easy.

I've just noticed that you haven't got the car yet. The simple (and only) solution to find out is ask your dealer ;)

Gotta say it seems strange asking about it after your've agreed the deal

Welcome,

Sounds just the same as mine but with AMI. I got round the problem with the phone by installing a Parrot system for about £150, a lot cheaper than the factory fitted option.
