Just downsized from 2 cars to 1 and decided upon a Eos, as wife has had convertibles for last 20 years, hoping Eos to be a great 'all-in-one' car that gives us some fun in our retirement. It's a fab looking silver with Chicago alloys and leather seats, 2007 TFSI Sport 2.0 petrol DSG and boy does it motor! Never had such a smooth runner with so much performance before and the DSG is the best auto I've driven, just seamless. Mind you the refueling trips are more frequent (30 mpg average isn't too bad though) but this is price of having that performance and fun.
So far so good, no leaks but some roof rattles along local uneven roads. Tyre noise at speed can be high but the road-holding from those big tyres is incredible.
Fingers crossed for no problems, as we tend to keep good cars for long periods if we can.

Designing leak proof multi section steel roofs is a lot more difficult than sealing a conventional soft top. Most multi section steel convertible manufacturers have had some problems with sealing , VW included. Check the internet to see owners experiences.

My tip - keep the car garaged and don't let it see any snow or frost. That way you'll have much reduced chances of problems with roof leaks.

Not surprised you enjoy driving it. The car has the same engine and power as a Golf GTI but the delivery is smoother and more relaxed.
