I want to change a few of the heater plugs, after last winter when starting was an issue.

I know how to test them but is there any advice or anything specific I should know, i.e. are they difficult to remove, is there a specific make, where's the best place to buy etc etc. ???

Any help appreciated.

BERU are generally considered the best. Eurocarparts sell them.
(NGK) had a good name, but I'm sure I read a complaint on these forums about them a while ago.

I have heared that the Glow plugs may be easier to loosen off when the engine is hot. But you will have to be very carefull so that you dont get scalded. Its better to do it cold but its a Tip worth knowing.
The same applies to Spark plugs

There is a guide for the B6 on my site. This might help abit. Ignore the comments about NGK plugs on my site. That only applies to the B6.
