hey guys just put down a deposit on a mk4 golf gt tdi 130, i wanna change the oil could i use a 0/40W fully synth (mobil 1) or ? cheers!:beerchug:

The oil you MUST use should state that it is suitable for a VAG PD diesel engine, if not, the cam can fail which will cost you around £1500 using all genuine parts at a main dealer.

We use Quantum Platinum or Longlife 3 from a VAG dealer.

Basically if it says VW505.01 (note the .01) or VW507 you should be ok.
