Hello all.

I have had my q7 tdi for 2 days now , and what a loverly vehicle!
but my problem is that for the last two nights my alarm has been going off!!

My neighbours like my new car but dont like being kept awake all night !

I have had it scanned and the trouble seems to be ' glass break sensor, rear '
code 01403 .

Does anybody know where this sensor is and is it possible to turn off the
interior sensor so keep my neighbour happy until i fix the problem.

sorry my first post is a beg for help , but i look forward to helping others in the future.
Regards
John

Sorted , Connect a GND wire to Central Convenience Control Unit on PIN-27 which will make neg loop and then you can still interior sensors.

Pretty certain you can inhibit the interior sensor but I don't have access to my handbook at the moment - would be worth careful study I think. Happy hunting!

I think there's a button on the outer edge of the driver's door where it closes against the B pillar. You can switch off the interior sensor each time you lock the car as a temporary fix, otherwise the sensor might need to be replaced.
