Hi guys, I have recently bought a 2005 A4 FSIT Quattro with a BWE engine. The car was sold to me with the MIL on. On plugging it into VAGCOM, I found several faults, I erased them and the one that was showing up was about the cam and crank sensor being out of sync. To cut a long story short, I stripped her down today, found someone had replaced the intake cam and had set up the cam chain timing wrong.
I corrected the intake cam which was out 1 tooth and replaced timing belt kit, water pump, cam chains and automatic tensioner. Rebuilt her and took her a drive.
20 miles in the MIL came on again and this is what she is reading now !!!

I took off the N249 valve and I think it is broken as its the older style one and appears to be seized aswell as the old O rings seem very sloopy so hopefully this will resolve that even although it did not bring on the MIL.
