Indicators staying on full light or not at all

Why indicators are either not flashing and staying on full light, or not working at all. I have changed the stalk and its still the same.

On some forums they say this is the Hazard Warning Light Switch, on others its the flasher unit.

Can anyone help?

The flasher unit is built into the hazard switch.
Change the hazard switch.

Wish i'd spoken to you before taken the breakdown mans advice, and then fitting a new stalk. :aargh4:

Lots of people here would have the same advice. For those symptoms it's almost definitely the hazard switch that needs replacing.
