Hi

Does anyone know at what mileage you have to get your Cambelt changed on an Audi A2 1.4 TDI. I have a 51 plate which has done 55000 miles. I initially thought it was due at 80000 but now Im not sure. Also its now due a service - is this next service a "big" service

thanks

chris - think its meant to be at 60k, however there is a little confusion about whether the change is also age related, i.e change after 4 years(apparently audi are suggesting this now - surpise surprise)
As yours has done nearly 60k and is over 4 years old, may be worth getting it done at the next service. Bear in mind it is going to hurt - around £400, worth getting the water pump done at the same time, as if it goes they will only charge you silly amounts for labour, and the part is relatively cheap.
For info if you are anywhere near staffordshire, stoke audi are offering service for £99 and cambelt change for £275, pretty good deals!

Have you got a contact number for audi stoke? are they an independant specialist?

Thanks

chris I know it seems cheap but they are a main dealer, audi stoke in hanley staffs, don't know the number, they are offering the service and cambelt change at the mo on ebay (bit bizarre I know) this will have the details etc.
hope this helps
by the way visit a20c.net the international a2 owners club website, it is probably the best site for a2 info you will ever visit, become a member and get some discount for vagparts etc, really worthwhile
cheers, oh and I don't own the site either
