A3 Disc service limits

2005 2.0 TDI 8P Sportback

Can anyone tell me the minimum service limit on the discs front and rear.

I knew my rear pads were low but the warning light came on the dashboard today so i checked the pads, found they were rubbing on the rivet that holds the spring on, looked at the rotor and it seemed heavily lipped. Measured the thicness and it was 8.2mm

I'll be getting new pads on tuesday just not sure if i need the discs or just get the lip removed.

if its 'heavily ' lipped, then it needs replacing.
having now checked on auto data, your discs were due to be changed .8 mm ago.

do the pistons on both rear calipers turn the same way?
