A/C not getting cold

:zx11: My air-conditioning (climate control) has got warm in my 1997 A6. It is still demisting the inside of the car bur I cannot get it to blow cold air. Is this a case of just having it re-gassed and having the condenser changed or is it going to get more serious?

Hi,

I would get the system regased to start with. If you get this done, the specialist doing it should do a service on the AC system, such as check for leaks, add oil to the system, and fully charge with gas, should also change the pollon filter at the same time.

Do you know when the sysytem was last regased? All AC systems loose gas as a natural cause, for example after 2 years my car had dropped from 750g of refridgerant down to 525g..
