ok...i have a shiny Audi A3 sportback.....polished regular at least once a month using autoglym resin, extra gloss protection, even used colour magic (turtle wax) Ive been told to use collinite 476s as its better than meguiars#16 and so on......then ive read the 476 is for dark coloured cars...yes now im confused!

What i want is a good decent wax that will last a while and protect the body, the 476 and meg #16 is under £15.00 what else is there out ther that lasts (at least 2-3 months, good for DOLPHIN METTALIC GREY CAR ?
and something under £15.00 ?

AFAIK Collinite 476S can be used on any coloured car, it's not a specific colour driven wax.

I've used the 476S and a month later the car is still beading beautifully and is really easy to wash still, no tar has stuck to the panels again yet.

Collinite made it's name in the US & Canada, as it is a really hard wax that supposedly lasts all winter. Or at least, that's what my family over in Canada tell me.

I ordered some from a seller on ebay. They are doing a kit with 3 applicator pads and too microfibre cloths for 16.99 + p&p. (Recommended by Paul B lol)

I ordered the stuff tuesday night, it arrived this morning. Unbelievable.

I'll let you know how I get on when tackling the Octavia this weekend.

Hi
I totally reccomend Valentines road and track, though it is outside you £15 range. It comes in at £40, though preperation is 9/10ths of the job.
I prepare with poorboys QD+ which is about a £10.
What you could do is use your normal wax, but just top it up using the QD+ every week ( or 2 ). Gives a nice deep wet look shine.
