Bi-Xenon Headlights - Daytime Running Lights

I'm in the process of deciding the options for a new CC GT TDI 140 and would like to hear from anybody who has the Bi-Xenon Headlights. Are the daytime running lights LED or just the normal dipped headlight? :nervous:

I've not seen a CC with LED's so I would imagine it's dipped :-(

I have just purchased a CC with bi-zenons, the daytime running lights are definately not LED's. They are built into the headlamps and look similair to the new golf and polo running lights. Probably H7 or H4 bulbs.

For those of us who do not care for DRLs it should be noted that they cannot be turned off by the owner ( unless you happen to have a VAGCOM) and vw will decline to turn them off. All a bit much as it is not currently a legal requirement to have them. Some people may be lucky to turn them off using the left indicator and pull back for mainbeam trick. VW have now fixed that loophole i believe:aargh4:
