Hi all,
I'm returning to the VW fold after years of Jap sports cars and a Beemer. I was tempted back after becoming a sensible family man :p and having to commute 70 miles + every day, so the old 3.0 petrol I had didn't make any sense any more.
The last VW I had was a mk3 Golf 1.9 TDI, so I was impressed by the new CR engines.
I've put my deposit down on a 2008 Jetta 140 TDI CR DSG Sport with only 15k on the clock, which I can't wait to get hold of.
I'll have lots of questions for you all. My last 2 cars had HIDs, so I am hoping to start with improving the lighting, and obviously a remap, and I think it had an RCD 300 in, so improved sounds and Bluetooth are a must :D
See you all around, and I'll see if there are any Scottish meet ups to come along to.
