Hi All
I have a 99 model year 1.8 non turbo A3. Come to start this morning and it cranks fine but will not fire, smells of fuel and has a spark and has good compression.
Put a vag scanner on it and code p1602 comes up power supplu b+ terminal 30 low lolts. i have not had the battery off and it is cranking fine.
Is it a feed to the ecu and anuone had this problem????

Timing belt/chain? That would be my port of call after check, spark and fuel. Especially if it is cranking. I hope it is not though.
