split-r and induction

hi im new to vag tuning and i was just wondering. what is the best induction kit/cone filter for my car?

also just bought a split-r and am fitting it tonight anyone give me a detailed idea of where it goes?

my car is a 51 1.8t quattro, from other pics my engine seens to be long ways not side ways thanks for the help
