hi everyone i own a audi 100 2.3 10v, i did have a audi 90 2.3 10v and was just wondering what the difference between the two eninges is as the a100 is 136bhp and the a90 is 170bhp? does anyone know? cheers

The only 170PS A90 5 cylinder 2.3 I can think of was the 7A 20 valve. The 2.3 10v A100 136PS engine was the NF.

Agree with crasher, 170hp engine is the 20v. There are a few differences between the NG 10v and the NF 10v : http://forums.justfourrings.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1962

Depending on year, the NG is 136hp or 133hp depending on cam profile used. I think the AAR engine is also 133hp? = 98kW on the vehicle data sticker
