To those who requested an update regarding my two key fobs not working the remote system (and all the helpful advice given). Took the car to Audi today after they said they had received the two new keys. They programmed them etc and all is now well - except my wallet is £283 lighter! Thanks to everybody who submitted help, hopefully I'll not bore this thread again about key fobs.
