Hi
Can anyone help? Just over the last 2 days my 55 b7 avant has started making some strange noise when starting the engine. It only seems to occur when the engine is hot and sounds awful. As soon as the engine is running it stops almost as if its happening when the key is fully turned whilst starting. After this the engine runs and performs normally till i stop and restart when hot. If the engine cools or is cold it doesnt make this noise (sounds like a loose starter motor if there is such a noise).
If anyone has any ideas?
If it makes any difference i had the car on vcds last weekend and the only fault was to do with the coms kit. I did have my battery disconnected for 10 mins also.
