hello to everybody new to this and no idea where to post
i have got an 1993 audi b4 1.9 TDI 1Z
for a week i have such a problem it starts ok as usual but after 10 minute of running rev counter goes to zero, engine in fact starts to work very noisy and poor acceleration an in about 4 seconds the oil lamp lights up and after some more 5 second the "check engine" lights as well lights up.
I made the self diagnosis with the flashing code- it showed code 2111 which means the engine speed-sensor is the fault. I replaced it whith a working one from another 1Z engine which runs perfectly : the same problem, iven worse, now when i start the engine this thing happens at wonce rev counter not working and oil light on. Checked all the wirings from that sensor to the ecu all seems to be ok, no shorts everything works. Have no clue from what to start.
Any help apreciated.:(
