A while back i bought A v ckecker.
I've only ever checked for fault codes with it.
I've not really used it that much as i've been lucky with reliability, however, it worked a treat on an 04 A3 for someone at work. kodkod.84 off the forum popped round for a scan and it failed to communicate with his A4. A different chap came round in an older audi and it worked a treat.
With my car it is a bit hit and miss. I suprised myself earlier by managing to communicate to clear an airbag light, but when i tried to enter 56 radio, it failed to communicate. I don't think is works on her 55 polo either.
Are some cars too new for the v checker? I don't for 1 minute think it is a dud.
