Despite my username my Dad actually has a Mark 6 Golf Tdi 140 now! I am posting on his behalf.

He would like to know if it is possible to get hold of any Service Bulletins for the new Golf? We have searched the internet, but haven't really got anywhere. Any ideas please? He doesn't mind if he has to pay a bit for them.

Thanks ;)

He'd also like to get hold of a bulb chart too, if anyone can help. Thanks

Yes thats ElsaWin 3.7 ****, I have that but it isn't easy to use. I doesn't say how many DVDs it only says DVD. I think there were 11 DVDs with mine plus there are no updates unless you are a dealer.

1 Setup, 2 Audi data, 2 Seat data, 2 Skoda data and 4 VW data DVDs.

Plus I got a free ETKA 7.0 DVD for £19.90. ;)

Sadly, TSB's have always been shrouded in secrecy here in the UK....

See Auto Express campaign here (http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/256666/auto_expresss_stop_the_service_secrets_campaign.ht ml)

If you're adamant about getting TSB's then you'll have to visit Stateside forums.........

A couple of TSB's can be viewed at this link :

http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4042736

but you'll have to dig deeper if you're after diesel specific bulletins.

Good luck

Its not really service secrets this is just the VOSA recalls (http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp) where you can search for any make or model but there is nothing new for VW Golf, the newest is 2009. ;)

At least in New Zealand they clearly list all recall campaigns model by model, quite a good idea.

Vosa do the same here in the UK John....but it seems there was no reason for recalls :)

TSB's on the other hand are rarer than hens teeth :D

Not really service bulletins but the differences between Mk5 and Mk6 cars.

Redesign and differences between the 2009 and new 2010 Jetta Golf TDI (http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/a5/09_10_TDIdifferences.htm)

If you have a TDI then its a good forum to join. ;)
