Cruise control button but no Cruise control

Hey everyone, I have a cruise control button but it doesn't work and when i went to check the fuse, there wasnt even any wiring where the fuse is suppose to go. Is this normal and can i fix it to get cruise. thanks

You have to get a VCDS (vag-com) read to see what is happening.

and see if the wiring etc is in place at the ECU.

It may just need activated through VAGCOM or it may be that it's just the switch that's fitted in which case you'll have to fit the wiring yourself
